Microsoft Reveals New Mice, LifeCams

Boston (dbTechno) - Microsoft has revealed some new hardware with three new notebook mice as well as two new LifeCams which will allow for video sharing.
The notebook mice which Microsoft unveiled probably deserve the most attention since Microsoft has been working very hard on them. All of them are wireless and one of them actually has a 1GB flash memory drive already pre-installed onto it.
The Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 and the Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 are both wireless mice. The 5000 comes with a carrying case and will retail for $49.95 in October while the 7000 will have once click access to the WIndows Vista Flip 3D window feature,a s well as six months of use on a single batter for $49.95 in September.
The Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 combines a flash drive and a mouse into one and will retail with a built in 1GB flash drive for $99.95 in October.
The two new LifeCams include the VX-7000 and the NX-3000. The 7000 is for desktops while the 3000 is for notebooks. Both integrate with Windows Live Messenger for easy video sharing.
The 7000 offers a 2 megapixel camera while the 3000 is a VGA resolution camera up to 640 by 480 pixels. The 7000 will retail for $99.95 while the 3000 will retail for $59.99. Both are expected out in September.
