Hawaii To Be Turned Into Better Place With Electric Cars
December 4, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - Better Place CEO Shai Agassi was joined by Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle and announced that the electric car company was coming to Hawaii.
Better Place has been working very hard to expand their company and promote their electric cars.
They have been getting charging locations ready to go across the world, and across the United States.
These stations will be able to charge batteries, and can also swap batteries out for consumers.
The idea is to build these places where you can park your car, and allow it to get juiced up.
This will work in a similar way to how your cell phone gets reception from towers.
Hawaii has agreed to allow Better Place to move on in, with the network of electric cars up expected to be ready to roll out in 2012.
