Facebook has announced that they have launched a spanish language version of their site.  Facebook users in Spain and Latin America now have the option to turn the language of the huge social-networking site to Spanish.Houston (dbTechno) - Facebook has announced that they have launched a Spanish language version of their site. Facebook users in Spain and Latin America now have the option to turn the language of the huge social-networking site to Spanish.

Facebook has announced that the site has been translated fully into Spanish, along with German and French versions coming within the next few weeks.

Many Facebook users are in countries which do not primarily speak English. Because of this Facebook has launched an initiative to translate the social-networking site for many languages.

1,500 users took park in the translation project to complete the entire task of translating the site into Spanish in only four weeks.

Starting on February 11th, users will have the option to view Facebook in the Spanish language.

All they have to do to activate this is to go into language preferences, which will be a new option, and choose Spanish for all of their news feeds, alerts, etc.

Facebook users can now access the mobile version of the site in their language of choice as well.
