MySpace Data Availability Allows Users To Access Profile Across Internet
May 8, 2008
Boston (dbTechno) - News Corp’s MySpace social network is set to expand again in terms of what features it offers with Data Availability. This new feature will allow users to share and access their profile, pictures, videos, etc. across the Internet on other Web sites.
Users are going to be able to go into their MySpace profile and make an update. Once that update is made, other sites who work off of MySpace profiles and features will update automatically.
This will allow photos, information and such to be shared across the Internet on many different Web sites.
MySpace gave one example as to how this will work, as a user can use his or her MySpace user information to quickly create a new Twitter account.
These things, such as profile photos, and more will be updated automatically in Twitter once they are updated within MySpace.
MySpace is going to allow users to use the social network as a hub of sorts. Users will then have the option of how much, or how little of their data and information they want to share across the Web.
The current partners to take part in this with MySpace include Twitter, Yahoo, eBay, and Photobucket.
