The domains are called Ymail and Rocketmail.

Yahoo Mail has 266 million active accounts, and to make it easier for customers to get an account name they actually like, the company has decided to move forward with the new domain names.

The way the current e-mail system works is a bit of a problem as people trying to get an ID for their e-mail more likely than not, are not allowed to get what they want.

Yahoo believes that the new domains will allow customers to get far simpler names for their e-mail addresses.

The new e-mail domains are set to launch on Thursday.

The new domains will run on the same interface and set-up already in place, meaning you will still get unlimited storage, etc.

These accounts created with the new domains can also be used on Yahoo Messenger, Flickr, or other Yahoo services.
