Adobe Teams With Google, Yahoo To Get Flash Content Indexed
July 1, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - Adobe has come out and stated that they have teamed with Google and Yahoo to make more of their Flash software content indexed in search engines.
Adobe has announced what they are calling optimized Adobe Flash Player technology.
The idea behind it is that Google and Yahoo search engines will more easily be able to discover information on the Flash sites, thus, making them be seen far easier by search engines.
This is good news for both Adobe, as well as those who are regular users of search engines from Google, or Yahoo.
The push from Adobe could prove to wind up being a major push for Flash, as some stay away from it right now due to the fact that it was never picked up well by search engines.
