The idea behind the new service from Mozilla Labs is to allow an average user to create mashups.

What is a mashup you ask? Think of it this way, a mashup is basically giving you the abilitty to take applications such as Google Maps, Digg, YouTube, etc, and them build them into one application together.

Mozilla’s Ubiquity s ervice is aiming to do away with tabbed web browsing by going with this new approach.

It is going to allow for users to basically create a brand new user interface, by mashing together many different applications.

This will allow Internet users to do things online faster, and easier.

Currently, this is all experimental as it is only in version 0.1 as of right now, but testing will continue and expand over time.
