Sprint Gaining Attention With Launch Of Xohm In U.S.

Washington (dbTechno) - A great deal of attention has been placed on Sprint over the last few days, with the launch of their Xohm network in Baltimore, Maryland.

The new network is a WiMax mobile data network, and is faster than any other mobile network currently available.

Xohm is a brand new wireless data service from Sprint, which will provide speeds similar to broadband, to wireless computers on-the-go.

For those who want unlimited usage, Sprint is offering it for $25 per month for home u se, and $30 per month for on-the-go use.

Sprint is also not requiring any customer to sign up for a contract to use the new service.

if you want it for 24 hours, you can even do that for just $10.

It has launched in Baltimore, Maryland, with download speeds anywhere from 2MB to 4MB per second.

The next step is for it to launch in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Dallas, and abroad.
