Full TV Shows Such As 90210 Set To Hit YouTube
October 13, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - YouTube, owned by Google, has struck a deal with CBS to feature full-length TV shows.
Some of the full-length shows that are going to be featured include 90210, The Young and the Restless, Dexter, Californication, and others.
YouTube and Google are trying their best to get more revenue out of the video sharing site, which is the motive behind this deal.
Before, the only way to see TV shows on YouTube was to see what other users have posted.
CBS has been named the first company to team up with YouTube, with more expected.
Google and YouTube will sell commercial ad slots which will air before, during, and after the full TV episodes.
CBS is the only content provider to this point, with YouTube getting a cut of the revenue.
