YouTube has been working to try and get rid of this type of explicit content from their video-sharing site for quite some time now.

The new rules set up by the site will allow only adults to view explicit content of this nature.

Videos that are simply too suggestive will be banned entirely from making it on the site.

On a company blog, YouTube stated that they have been thinking about doing this for quite some time now, to improve the whole experience of the site.

They stated “Our goal is to help ensure that you’re viewing content that’s relevant to you, and not inadvertantly coming across content that isn’t.”

The new rules in place will target content that is “intended or designed to arouse viewers.”

In the past, YouTube already did their best to ban videos with explicit content.

Repeat offenders who post these types of videos will be banned from YouTube.
