Twitter Accounts Of Barack Obama, Britney Spears Hacked

Washington (dbTechno) - Hackers managed to get into the Twitter accounts of several big celebrities including President-elect Barack Obama as well as Britney Spears.

Hackers were able to gain access to the Twitter accounts of 33 celebrities in their attack, and used their power to have their own fun on the site.

They hacked into the account of Britney Spears, and then used it to end out messages about their various body parts.

Those who were friends with Barack Obama on Twitter received messages about getting free gas and such on the site.

The hackers managed to carry out the attack on Monday morning, with other victims including Stephen Fry, as well as CNN anchor Rick Sanchez.

For those who do not know, Twitter is a social-networking blog site that allows users to send status updates from anywhere, including thehir cell phones.

Twitter has stated that the hackers were able to use internal support tools used to reset e-mail addresses to gain access to the accounts.

This comes just days after a phishing scam was carried out on the Twitter site.

According to the latest reports, everything is now back to normal with the accounts.
