Amazon has been working out deals with many textbook publishers to get their books ready for these new large screen Kindle devices.

The company is going to run tests on certain students at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. as well as students at Princeton and other locations starting in the fall.

The idea is to see how students do with the large screen Kindle e-book readers to see if they help at all.

The plan is to compare how students do with the Kindle versus a traditional textbook.

Not only are textbooks being talked about, but newspaper and magazines as well.

The expectation is that these could be sold in a subscription form for Kindle users through Amazon.

The large screen Kindle is believed to be 8.5 bw 11-inches and could change the way college kids buy textbooks forever.

The company is expected to make a formal presentation of the large screen Amazon Kindle on Wednesday.

In the end, the hope is this will be a bit cheaper than shelling out $150 - $200 a pop for a book for each class.
