According to sources within Apple, they may not be done after announcing the release of the new 16GB Apple iPhone and 32GB iPod Touch. They may be getting ready to upgrade the Apple iPhone once again with a 3G iPhone in the next few monthsHollywood (dbTechno) - According to sources within Apple, they may not be done after announcing the release of the new 16GB Apple iPhone and 32GB iPod Touch. They may be getting ready to upgrade the Apple iPhone once again with a 3G iPhone in the next few months.

Apple made the announcement on Tuesday that they have released two new models of their two hotttest products. They announced the release of the 16GB iPhone, which doubles the capacity of the 8GB model, and the 32GB iPod Touch, which doubles the 16GB model for storage.

The 16GB iPhone comes with a $499 price tag, while the 32GB iPod Touch has a $499 price tag as well.

Sources though are stating that Apple may not be done. IT is expected that within the next few months, Apple will also release a new 3G iPhone.

What they will do then is basically phase out the 8GB model. We will be left with the 16GB iPhone as the lower-end model, and the 3G iPhone leading the pack as the top-of-the-line iPhone.

This will also mean a price drop for the 16GB iPhone.
