Apple Cuts Price 1Gb iPod Shuffle, 2GB Model Revealed
February 19, 2008
Hollywood (dbTechno) - Apple has announced that they have cut the price of the 1GB iPod Shuffle to a very reasonable $49. They have also introduced a 2GB model of the iPod Shuffle at the price point of $69.
The original price for the 1GB iPod Shuffle was set at $79, so this is a pretty big drop as the price has been lowered by $30 to $49.
This $30 price drop on the iPod Shuffle, Apple hopes, will spark sales of the device, which has seen declines as of late in growth.
Apple stated that the 2GB iPod Shuffle will release later on in February for $69, another reasonable price.
This is an attempt by Apple to put out two extremely affordable portable music players under the iPod Shuffle brand.
The most convenient MP3 player on the market from Apple just got a whole lot cheaper.
