dbTechno reviews iPod Nano 3rd Gen Defender Strength Case from OtterboxiPod Nano 3rd Gen Defender Strength Case

Review
Otterbox
Price: $29.99

Otterbox has quickly turned into one of the most trusted companies out there in regards to making high-quality cases for phones, laptops, etc. For something of a change of pace, they have come out with the iPod Nano 3rd Gen Defender Strength Case.

The idea behind this new move from Otterbox is truly something which needs to be applauded, as it lays the focus on helping donate money to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade to fight breast cancer.

The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade aims to support access to care, and to find a cure for breast cancer.

The case itself is highly-impressive, as just about all of the Otterbox cases are.

The case fits perfectly, holding the 3rd Generation Nano and keeping it free from many damage. The most amazing aspect of this case, as has been seen in their other cases for the iPhone and other devices, is the patented thin membrane they use to cover the screen and click wheel.

While the screen and click wheel remain fully covered, you have the ability to keep your iPod protected, and use all of its features just like it was not in a case at all.

The design of the case is to benefit the idea behind it, supporting the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. For this reason, the case is colored pink and will likely appeal to any female iPod Nano.

There is really not all that much to complain about with the case, as it is even slim enough that the Nano will still easily fit in your pocket, as it does not turn it into anything bulky to say the least.

One concern with the case that I did have was the fact that I was nervous I would not be able to sync or charge the Nano without having to take it out of the case. Thankfully, Otterbox has this covered as well as you can leave the IPod Nano and use the little slots to still be able to sync and charge the device.

Otterbox has made it clear that 10% of the purchase price of the case will go straight to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. With the price of the case at just $29.99, this is a no-brainer way to get yourself a fantastic case for your iPod Nano, and do a great thing by helping find a cure for breast cancer at the same time. We highly applaud Otterbox for the move, and highly recommend this case!

Final Score: 9.0
