Apple Takes Baby Shaker iPhone App Off Of The App Store
April 23, 2009
Washington (dbTechno) - Apple has decided to try and evade more controversy by pulling a new iPhone app known as Baby Shaker.
The iPhone game was put up on the App Store and was available to iPhone users on Wednesday at a price of 99-cents.
Due to a great deal of controversy though, the game has been taken down from the store.
The idea behind the game was to use the accelerometer on the iPhone to basically shake a crying baby to get it to stop.
The idea for the game was to see how long people could stand listening to the cries before they had to quiet the baby.
Once you shook the baby, there would be a large red X over the eyes of the baby.
This sparked outrage by many, and for good reason. This led to Apple taking down Baby SHaker.
The application was designed by Sikalosoft, which also made the app Dice Mosaic.
