With No Microsoft Phone In Site, Verizon Needs The iPhone

Washington (dbTechno) - Microsoft, according to reports, is not producing their own phone for Verizon Wireless, meaning the wireless provider may need the Apple iPhone more than ever.
Over the past few weeks there has been a lot of talk about Apple and the state of the iPhone.
This is mainly due to two reasons. The first reason is that a new version of the iPhone is likely to be unveiled in June, while the second reason involves exclusivity.
The Apple iPhone will remain an exclusive device to AT&T until the year 2010, which is now very close.
This means that AT&T either has to work to extend their deal with Apple, or lose out on some big money.
This has opened the door for Verizon Wireless to enter talks with Apple about the iPhone.
All while this was going on, rumors state that Microsoft was working on their own smart phone for Verizon Wireless which would be an iPhone-killer in a sense.
These rumors seem to be just as stated though, rumors, with no truth to them.
If this turns out to be the case, Verizon Wireless may have no other option other than to give Apple whatever they want to be sure they get the next iPhone.

With 89.7 million people on the Verizon network compared to the 78 million on AT&T that’s even AFTER the iphone customers have been counted. It is the largest and leading network nation wide.
they don’t NEED the iphone because they NEVER had the iphone and have still brought in customers like no other. The only reason they want the iphone is to put AT&T’s crappy phone service and inferior network in the ground where it belongs.
this article makes it seem that without the iphone Verizon will fail. LULZ it has succeeded in every way. In fact there was a comment by one of the CEO’s of Verizon when asked how will the iphone impact Verizon wireless profits. All he said and has come full circle now. is “despite how great the phone is we will see how it compares to the best cellular network in the nation”
and as you can see it has passed with flying colors and will finally be able to deal a killing blow to such a crappy cell service that is otherwise known as AT&T.
