.....Washington (dbTechno) - It appears that Apple is feeling the heat of the Motorola Droid releasing on Verizon, as they may offer a $99 iPhone.

Rumors are circulating that Apple is going to drop the price of the Apple iPhone down to just $99 for the holiday season.

This is going to be in effect for the 8GB iPhone 3GS model and will be for a limited time.

This will allow the Apple iPhone to be priced much less that the upcoming Motorola Droid.

The cheaper iPhone 3GS will allow for it to be marketed to the masses as a smartphone optioni for all.

This compared to the 16GB iPhone 3GS at $199 and the 32GB version at $299.

    My bad…

I missed the part that said it would be a new 8 gb 3gs replacing the 8 gb 3g.

I thought the 16 was price cut again and that won’t happen. But the 8gb 3gs that would accualy be a rather smart play on apples part.

So my bad… But bgr somereason was Easier to comprehend maybe ganjaaaa
