The 8GB version of the iPhone has received a price drop from 399 euros all the way down to 99 euros ($155). This was done in anticipation of the new 3G iPhone expeced to launch soon.

T-Mobile in Germany is currently offering the 8GB iPhone for a mere 99 euros with a two-year contract. The offer is going from April 7 through June 30.

The 16GB iPhone will still carry a price tag of 499 euros with a two-year contract.

This was done in anticipation of the upcoming 3G iPhone as Apple is expected to release it at anytime from May to June. It is likely that by the time this offer for the 8GB iPhone ends, they will be completely out of stock of the model, as it will have been discontinued.

Reports state that Apple already has major orders in for the iPhone, with small orders in May, and millions more due in June.

The impact of the 3G iPhone is already being seen, and it has yet to be officially announced.
