Sony BMG Joins Nokia Comes With Music Program

Nokia made the announcement on Tuesday that the music company Sony BMG has agreed to join the Nokia music program.  This will allow the world's leading mobile phone maker to give users access to the music library of Sony BMG.Boston (dbTechno) - Nokia made the announcement on Tuesday that the music company Sony BMG has agreed to join the Nokia music program. This will allow the world’s leading mobile phone maker to give users access to the music library of Sony BMG.

The Nokia mobile music program is known as Nokia Comes With Music, and gives Nokia owners the opportunity to download unlimited music from all types of artists from various record labels.

During the first year users own their Nokia device, they can download as much content as they want on their mobile phones and computers. After the first 12 months, Nokia customers can keep the music they downloaded.

They also can buy new music or sign up for a subscription service to continue their unlimited access.

Nokia released a statement on Tuesday saying “Sony BMG Music Entertainment has officially joined Nokia Comes With Music, a revolutionary way for people to discover and enjoy music with their Nokia device.”

Nokia already has a deal in place with Universal Music Group International as well.

The service will be launched in the second half of 2008 on a wide variety of Nokia devices, in selected markets.
