If you want one though, get ready to shell out big bucks.

Ever since the launch of the iPhone 3G, demand has been extremely high, to the point where Apple simply can’t keep up.

With many stores now sold out, people have turned to eBay to join other eager buyers in their hunt for a new iPhone 3G.

Auctions on eBay are raising in price by the hour, as the demand for the phone is very high.

The average price for a 16GB iPhone 3G on eBay is now well over $1,000, with the 8GB iPhone 3G selling for around $800.

This is a huge premium over the $299 and $199 price tags at retail for the 16GB and 8GB models.
