Apple Brings Back Partial MobileMe Access To iPhone Users
July 28, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - Apple Inc. made the announcement last Friday that they have managed to restore partial access to MobileMe e-mail accounts for iPhone users.
Full access to MobileMe e-mail is likely to come back later this week, according to Apple.
An Apple employee has been keeping users up to date out the efforts to restore MobileMe service, updating the Status page as much as possible on the Apple site.
The latest update shows that partical access to blacked-out MobileMe e-mail accounts has returned.
Apple has stated though that some e-mail messages sent to those accounts were likely lost over the course of the outage, which lasted for an entire week.
Apple has stated that the problem was due to server issues, and that only 1% of MobileMe users were blocked from getting into their e-mail.
