Turkcell Inks Deal To Bring Apple iPhone 3G To Turkey
August 18, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - The leading mobile phone operator in Turkey, Turkcell, has signed a deal to bring the iPhone 3G to the country before the year is out.
Turkcell announced on Monday that they have signed an agreement with Apple Inc. to sell the iPhone 3G in the country.
Apple released the iPhone 3G to the masses around the world just over a month ago, and has enjoyed a great deal of success ever since.
Since it launched, the iPhone 3G has been made available in over 20 countries around the world.
The biggest problem Apple has had is keeping up with demand for the iPhone 3G.
Now, before the year is out, it appears that Turkcell customers will have the opportunity to join in on the fun, and purchase an iPhone 3G.
