Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment is one again putting out a brand new product based on the popular High School Musical franchise with High School Musical DVD Game – Sing, Dance Act, Play, and needless to say, fans will not be disappointed.

This is very similar to the recently released Hannah Montana DVD Game as it is structured for a group of players to join in on all of the fun.

The games are broken down so that you can play by yourself in some of the games, or with groups of people in other games.  Some of the part games will allow four or more people to take part.

There are 11 games in all featured here, and some of them are actually very entertaining.  The graphics are not all that impressive but do get the job done, and are broken up to try to appease all types of fans.

You have your typical trivia game included here for fans of the hit movies to test out their knowledge.  On top of that, there are also plenty of other games that will have fans singing and dancing along to their favorite High School Musical tunes.

I understand the target audience Disney was going for with this one and in my mind they have hit a home-run as there is clearly plenty of content here for the target audience to have a blast if they open this up on Christmas.

Some of the games beyond the trivia include Wildcats Tryouts, Yearbook Memory Game, Career Finder Quiz, Prom Night, Center Stage, Pop Rally, and others.

The video quality is right on par with all other Disney releases for the most part as the quality is nearly flawless,.  The same can be said about the audio mix which is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1

The release here is going to be a lot of fun for its target audience, and will act as a great stocking stuffer this holiday season.  Highly-recommended!
