Wind in the Willows Walt Disney Animation Collection
DVD Review
Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment
Released: May 12, 2009
Disney has put out a set of animated classics on DVD as part of their Walt Disney Animation Collection with Wind in the Willows.
The set of animated shorts on this particular DVD release are headlined by Wind in the Willows, which stars none other than J. Thaddeus Toad and his friends.
From here, we are presented with other classic such as The Wise Little Hen, The Robber Kitten, The Golden Touch, Ugly Duckling, and The Grasshopper and the Ants.
All of these animated shorts are just fine, and the fact that there are six here add a lot of value, definitely worth checking out for fans of Disney animated classic.
The lack of extras is a bit disappointing though, as all you get with the release is the included collectible litho print.
As for the audio and video quality, all get a passing grade, mainly due to the fact that the source material is clearly lacking.
Recommended due to the fact that the six animated shorts here are very strong and entertaining.
Content: 7.8
Video: 7.0
Audio: 7.0
Extras: 3.0
Final Score: 6.5
