The Simpsons continue to have an amazing run on television, with new seasons still being released on the DVD format, with us now being up to season 12 of the hit series.

There are so many seasons of The Simpsons that you may have to have a few shelves dedicated to the series if you actually want to own them all.

The latest release is season 12 of The Simpsons, which features many guest stars such as Andre Agassi, Drew Barrymore, and others.

To be honest, there really are not that many stand-out episodes in Season 12 of the series, but that does not mean that they are bad by any means. They just continue to showcase all different circumstances and such for the family to get into, and in doing so they are still quite entertaining.

The DVD set is on four discs and contains all 21 episodes of the show, as well as some very cool bonus features.

One thing I did like is that we get to start out with a audio commentary introduction from none other than Matt Groening himself.

On top of that, there are also full audio commentaries with every episode from various people who work on the show.

Next up are some deleted scenes which also include commentary, as well as original sketches, commercials, etc.

Some animation featurettes round out this rather impressive set of extras for Simpsons fans.

Overall The Simpsons The Twelfth Season is not the best season of the series, but it has enough entertainment value to make it a worthy addition to your DVD collection if you are a fan of the show.

Content: 7.5 Not the best season of the show, but still entertaining.

Video: 8.0 Video quality is crisp and clear enough that it gets the job done.

Audio: 8.5 Audio comes across clear throughout, good dialogue.

Extras: 8.5 A very strong set of extras here rounds out this set.
