Kevin Smith has had a great run garnering quite a fan-base with his comedies. 3 of these comedies have now been released together in The Kevin Smith Collection on Blu-ray.

The 3-movies included here are Clerks, Chasing Amy, as well as Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Kevin Smith has done a great job of putting together comedies that his fans truly enjoy, including other films such as Jersey Girl, Zack and Miri Make A Porno, and others.

This is a nice package put together here by Miramax for fans of his as this is a chance to get all 3 of the fun comedies together on Blu-ray.

The real big bonuses to this collection include adding Chasing Amy and Clerks, as they get a lot of new extras added in on Blu-ray.

Unfortunately the audio and video quality is a little sub-par when compared to other high-profile releases out there. This is mainly though due to the fact that the source material for these films was far from perfect. This leads to a transfer that comes across a bit grainy and not as clear in terms of the audio and the video as it should have been.

Chasing Amy and Clerks as stated come with a lot of new features on Blu-ray, while Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back gets the same Blu-ray release it previously enjoyed.

Clerks has a new documentary featuring Kevin Smith, while Chasing Amy has a new audio commentary, a Q&A session, as well as much more.

The key to this is that Miramax has done just enough to tantalize Kevin Smith fans as the movies have been touched up and given little extras to give Smith fans a little more exposure to the films overall.

Kevin Smith fans out there who do not already own these movies will enjoy this value-pack on Blu-ray, as it is a great way to get 3 enjoyable comedies together at once.
