Total Nonstop Action Wrestling has released one of their biggest pay-per-views of the year on DVD with Bound for Glory 2009.

TNA Bound for Glory 2009 is presented on DVD in a very nice 2-disc set that features all 9 matches on the card.

Some of the matches were truly home runs, while some others were a but underwhelming to be quite honest.

Some of the more high-profile matches though included AJ Styles vs. Sting for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, as well as Kurt Angle going up against Matt Morgan.

The Monster’s Ball match between Mick Foley and Abyss was also one to remember.

Other matches which failed to live up to expectations included Bobby Lashley vs. Samoa Joe in a submission match, as well as the Legends title match with Kevin Nash, Eric Young, and Hernandez going up against each other.

The audio and video quality on the DVD release are well-done, per usual from TNA Home Video.

On top of that, you also get some extras here including the pre-show match between the Motor City Machinegunsu and Lethal Consequences.

There are also included pre-match and post-match press conference interviews, music videos, a 30-minute preview of all of the matches, an interview with Sting, and more.

In total there is over an hour of additional content that adds value to the package.

TNA Home Video put together a nice release here, as even though this is not the best TNA pay-per-view to date, it has enough value to be worth picking up.
