WWE Survivor Series is always one of the most popular PPVs of the year, and that was certainly the case in 2009 with the WWE Survivor Series 2009 event.

The even this year took place on November 22, 2009 at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C.

If you can believe it, this was the 23rd Survivor Series PPV and featured some great classic Survivor Series matches.

There were 3 of the big Survivor Series matches in total.

The teams were broken down with a match for each brand, Smackdown, Raw, as well as ECW.

On top of these, there were also some quality standard matches such as Cena vs. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels.

There was also another fantastic triple-threat match with Undertaker, Chris Jericho, as well as the Big Show.

The Survivor Series PPV has become very predictable over the years but in my opinion these classic matches are always very fun.

I was disappointed with the audio and video quality of this release. For some reason WWE just seemed to drop the ball with the video quality on this one.

There are only a few extras here, one including DX and the other with Christian performing a rap, pretty lame to be honest.

Despite its faults, this DVD release features one of the bigger WWE PPVs of the year and is certainly worth it for fans as it is always fun to own the big PPVs.
