Tylenol Arthritis Caplets Being Recalled Because of Sickening Smell

Boston (DbTechNo) - Johnson and Johnson have expanded a recall of Tylenol Arthritis Caplets because of a mouldy smell that causes nausea.
According to the company, trace amounts of the chemical 2,4,6-tribromoanisole is causing the odour that can result in severe stomach pain.
Originally they had just recalled up to 5 lots of the drug, but due to continuous reports of the foul odour, they have expanded the recall.
The type of products being recalled are all product lots of the Arthritis Pain Caplet 100 count bottles with the red EZ-Open Cap.
The company says that beginning in January of next year they will reintroduce bottles of Tylenol Arthritis Pain Caplets 100 count.
So far, no serious side effects have been documented in people subjected to the unpleasant odour.
