Scientists Create Glow-In-The-Dark Cloned Cat
December 17, 2007
Boston (dbTechno) - Scientists from South Korea have come out and stated that they have created cloned cats which glow red when exposed to UV rays.
Scientists created these cloned cats by working with their genetic code of the donor cats. The changes were moved to these clones. Kong II-Keun led the team of scientists who produced three cats which glowed red. They had altered fluorescent protein genes.
Skin cels were taken from a Turkish Angora female cat. From here a virus was used to input the red glowing color into the cloned cats.
Scientists have stated that this will open up a great deal of possibilities for the future in medicine. They stated that if you can pass along code through cloning in this manner to make cats glow, then you may be able to do more complex things which would allow them to create treatments for various diseases in both humans and animals.
Kong II-Keun is a professor at Gyeongsang University. The team, as stated produced these three cloned cats, which they hope will help them develop cures for human genetic diseases. We will have to wait and see.

I think that the whole Idea would be Great if People were not trying to PLAY GOD!
I mean Hello this are not creations of the LORD and everybody gets a kick out of this stuff like it is okay. I think the Idea is an abomination to our living God and I strongly believe that God will only allow a little bit of this crap to happen and then he will eventually stop everything because it is not his work of teaching it is only the WORLD.
FREAKIN SWEET!!!!! im gona get a cat and be able to go through dark caves with it!!!!! OOOOOHHHHHH YYYYEEEEAAAAHAHHH
god made us able to clone cats dumbass
God isnt real.. its called terroism.. im not talkin about durkas running around jihand style either.. im talkin a tool used to control the general masses and shape morale judgement. God’s creatures?? lmfao @ the ignorant who rely on something never seen in life as a savior.. The world is made up of materials — atoms, particles, synapsis, etc—– SCIENCE. not magic — god
Valerie, babe, god doesn’t exist. Therefore we cannot play god. They are just scientists, trying to make soe buzzy cats. Awesome imo.
That is really, really mean. Think of the poor cats i mean seriously how can you do that its just as mean as possible. It is Animal cruelty. How would you like to be turned bright green or red?

I think testing on animals is very sad, but there’s not a thing anyone can do about it. On a different note, atleast this testing will be benficial in the long run.
As for God, cloning has been happening for decades. Dolly the Sheep was not the first cloned animal, she was the first cloned animal from a single cell (a mammory cell from sheep milk). So, if God wanted to strike us down for cloning, He would have done it already, don’t you think? And, for that matter, what does cloning have to do with God getting mad at us? There are animals beaten and abused and kicked and starved and burned every single day and I’ve yet to see an owner cast into Hell. To get even more serious, little babies in Africa are reguarly raped from men who have AIDS because they believe that having sex with a virgin will cure them. So, why hasn’t God punished them for ruining innocent little children’s entire lives?
So, I think we’re pretty safe. Out of all the terrible stuff that’s happened since humans first came into the scene, I’m sure cloning isn’t going to top it all.
