Telescope Zooms In On The Milky Way’s Black Hole

Washington (dbTechno) – A new UA radio telescope has allowed astronomers to take a closer look at the black hole of the Milky Way galaxy.

The telescope managed to create a virtual image using radio telescopes from three different locations.

What scientists are able to look at now is a close-up of the black hole, the center of the Milky Way galaxy.

The detailed images have been obtained using the University of Arizona’s Submillimeter Telescope, along with two others from Hawaii and  California.

This is the first time that telescopes have actually been able to see the true size of the black hole at the center of the galaxy.

The study is set to be released as of Thursday, and focuses on the images which are said to be 1,000-times more detailed than anything from the Hubble Space Telescope from NASA.

This is the most detailed look to date at the black hole of the Milky Way galaxy, and could lead to major discoveries.

The study will be released in the journal Nature.
