Washington (dbTechno) – Scientists made a major discovery in Argentina, as they have found the remains of a large meat-eating dinosaur, which had a breathing system that was very similar to that of a modern b ird.
The findings were revealed as Paul Sereno from the University of Chicago wrote about them in the journal PLoS One on Monday.
The remains of the dinosaur were found in a rock that was dated back to 85-million years ago.
This was located on the banks of the Rio Colorado in Argentina.
The dinosaur was a two-legged predator which was 33-feet long, and had feathers.
Even more amazing is the breathing system, whichi was said to be very similar to a modern bird
.
This shows once again, that there is a clear link between dinosaurs, and modern birds.
