Possible Sign Of Life Found On Mars, Methane Gas

Washington (dbTechno) – NASA has confirmed that they have discovered a possible sign of life on the planet Mars in the form of methane gas.

NASA announced this week that scientists have discovered methane gas is present in the atmosphere of Mars.

The methane is being released into the atmosphere after it comes up from the surface of the red planet.

The way in which the methane gas is being released has many at NASA believing that it could be a sign of some type of biological activity.

Breaking this down into simpler terms, it means that life could be forming, or may already have formed on Mars in some capacity.

NASA has not confirmed that this means life is on Mars currently, but it has many people believing that.

They did admit that this surely increases the probability that we will find life on Mars very soon.

For example, the majority of methane on Earth is produced by bacteria from the living things on our planet.

The discovery was made by two telescopes, the NASA Infrared Telescope Facility in Hawaii, and one other.

The findings, which were discovered by scientists, including principal investigator Michael Mumma, have been published in Science Express.
