The fish, was first discovered by scuba diving instructors just over a year ago and since then has been the focal point of intense research.

Scientists are amazed by the ability of the psychedelic fish to maneuver along the ocean floor, and submitted DNA requesting that it be named as its very own species.

The fish looks similar to fish belonging to the antennariid genus class, but has fins on either side of its body that look like legs.

The fish, about the size of a fist, propells itself along the ocean floor by bouncing on its fins, and expelling water through its tiny gills.

It has a flat face with eyes that face in a forward direction, similar to humans.
