Gas Mask Bra Wins Ig Nobel Prize

Boston (DbTechNo) – The 2009 recipients of the Ig Nobel prizes have been announced with the designers of a gas mask bra picking up an award.

Ig Nobel prizes are awarded to people who come up with discoveries who first make people laugh, and then make them “wonder.”

One of the prizes went to the designers of a bra which is an invention of the ages for sure, as in the time of need, it can be turned into a gas mask offering two life saving masks, one for the woman wearing it and another for a needy bystander.

Dr Elena Bodnar is the brainchild behind the funky bra and upon receiving her prize, she proceeded to hand out bras to the Nobel laureates.

Another eye opening prize went to researchers who performed a study to determine if it was better to be hit over the head with a full, or empty beer bottle.

Upon receiving their awards, each recipient was given 60 seconds for their exceptance speech, maybe the MVAs could take a page from this book.
