Space Shuttle Endeavour Mission Delayed 24 Hours For Repairs
August 3, 2007

Washington (dBTechno) - With the need to repair a leak in the crew cabin, the launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour has been delayed until 6:36 pm (2236 GMT) Wednesday, US space agency NASA said Friday.
NASA said it detected a faulty pressure relief valve that caused the leak and had replaced the valve with an intact one from shuttle Atlantis.
The additional day will provide time to complete the processing and allow the countdown to begin at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Endeavour last flew in November 2002, the last US space mission before shuttle Columbia exploded after launch in February 2003, killing all seven astronauts on board and grounding the US fleet.
