Total Lunar Eclipse Set For Wednesday Night
February 18, 2008
Boston (dbTechno) - A total lunar eclipse is expected to be visible as of Wednesday night. This will be the last total lunar eclipse until December 2010.
As long as the skies are clear, the total lunar eclipse is supposed to be easily visible on Wednesday night.
The peak time to see the total lunar eclipse will be at 10:26 p.m. EST
It is believed though that anytime between around 8:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. should allow for a nice view of the marvelous event.
A lunar eclipse takes place when the moon passes through the shadow of the Earth. The moon glows red when this occurs.
As stated, this will be the last chance to see a total lunar eclipse until the year December 2010.
