Perseid Meteor Shower To Light Up The Sky Tuesday Morning
August 11, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - If you look out into the sky on Tuesday morning, you will get to see the Perseid meteor shower at its peak, dancing across the sky.
Those who love to look up at the stars are going to be in for a real treat early Tuesday morning.
It is believed that every single hour, around 100 extremely bright and fast-moving meteors will be dashing across the sky.
These shooting stars are expected to be most visible for people on the East cost at around 3 a.m. or 4 a.m., right after the moon sets.
The Perseid meteor shower is an annual event, named due to the fact that it comes from the constellation Perseus.
Meteros are highly-visible with the naked eye, and move extremely fast.
Experts have stated that this will likely be a great shower to look at due to the position of the moon.
