Third-party Web sites now have the ability, through these new tools, to have full access to the YouTube video library, as well as the entire YouTube infrastructure, including video hosting and streaming.

This is huge news, as developers and operators of Web sites can give full access to its users to upload videos to YouTube, without actually going to YouTube.

This is going to basically allow Web sites to become their own versions of YouTube, allowing people to access their YouTube accounts directly.

This will keep traffic on the third-party Web sites, while also expanding YouTube at the same time.

Not only can these third-party Web sites allow users to upload videos directly to YouTube, they also allow feeds to come in for the most-viewed videos, top-rated videos, etc.

YouTube wrote on its blog that they are now an “open, general-purpose, video services platform, available for use by just about any third-party Web site, desktop application or consumer device.”

Those who love YouTube will now be able to access every single feature of YouTube from a variety of Web sites.
