Boston (dbTechno) – The most highly-anticipated game upcoming for the Nintendo Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, has been delayed in North America as well as Japan.
Nintendo has come out with an announcement that the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been delayed as the game will now not release in North America until Sunday, March 9th.
The game was originally supposed to release back in early December on the Wii just in time for the end of the holiday shopping season, but it did not happen for Nintendo fans.
Nintendo also stated that the Japan launch date has been pushed back a bit as well as it has moved from January 24th to January 31st.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl was given the date of February 10th in North America after failing to meet its December release date, but apparently has been delayed again.
Japan will only see a one-week delay while North America will see a delay of about four-weeks.
The game was delayed to further polish the entire experience as well as the online aspect on the Nintendo Wii.
