Upon interviewing one die-hard Star Wars fan and loyal gamer following seeing the tech demo for the first time, his immediately response when I asked him what he thought of it was, “I’m in shock and awe.”

The art director of Star Wars: Force Unleashed, Matt Omernick has stated that “When the player steps into that world, this is going to be the first time that they stop and go, (sharp intake of breath), I’m in Star Wars.”

The new trailer which was released by LucasArts reveals a great deal about the type of technology in the game which will showcase the immense visual prowess that this game has in its arsenal.

The trailer does a great job of giving an explanation as to how the Havok physics system works with Euphoria to create what developers describe as “a way of simulating the substance of objects, things actually behave like they do the real world.”

The game is shaping up to be the best Star Wars game to date as fans of the video games, movies, comics, novels, and more are clamoring for more information on what will be an absolutely incredible release in 2008.
