Microsoft Ready To Launch Vista SP1 On Monday

Microsoft is set to launch Windows Vista Service Pack 1 on Monday, February 4. The other big expectation is that Microsoft will also launch Windows Server 2008 this week as well.

On Monday, WIndows will launch Vista Service Pack 1.

The first part of the Vista Service Pack 1 update will include 5 of the 36 language packs including English, French, Japanese, Spanish, and Germin. The second part will have the rest of the languages and shouuld be out within a week.

Vista Service Pack 1 will release in two stand-alone installers for businesses. A 450MB file which have the five language packs, and a 550MB file which has all lagnuagaes.

For standard users, SP1 will be available through Windows Update, Microsoft Update, and Windows Server Update Services.

The total package will be around 65MB.
