Activision Confirms New Call of Duty, Guitar Hero

Activision has confirmed the release of many new games including Call of Duty 5, two new Guitar Hero games, a new video game to go along with the latest James Bond film, as asll as a new Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.Washington (dbTechno) – Activision has confirmed the release of many new games including Call of Duty 5, two new Guitar Hero games, a new video game to go along with the latest James Bond film, as well as a new Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.  This all came during their record-breaking financial report.
Activision has some big announcements to make yesterday as they revealed that they had some record-breaking financial results.

They stated that fiscal 2008 will be the best year ever for Activision and they may be right considering the incredible line-up of games they have planned.  Look for Activision to continue to be the #1 publisher in 2008 with a  line-up such as this!

Activision Publishing CEO Mark Griffiths stated “There will be a full slate driven by our strongest brands.”

What brands do you ask? Activision has plans for new entries into the Call of Duty franchise, as well as Guitar Hero.

The new Call of Duty will hit the PS2 and Wii according to the company. Call of Duty 5 is also in development for the next-gen consoles.

The company stated that they will release two new Guitar Hero games between April 1 and June 30, 2008.

They also stated they are working on the next Tony Hawk skateboarding game, as well as two new superhero games in a new Spider-Man game and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.

They also are working on a James Bond game to tie-in with the new film coming out, The Quantum of Solace, as well as a tie-in to the DreamWorks film Kung Fu Panda.
