Washington (dbTechno) – It has been revealed that Sega Superstars Tennis, in development for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii, will feature no online play for the Nintendo Wii version.
It seems that Sega Superstars Tennis is not going to take advantage of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection in any such way as it is the only version of the game that will not feature online play.
Sega has stated that the experience in Sega Superstars Tennis will be identical whether you are playing over the PlayStation Network on the Sony PS3, or over Xbox Live on the Xbox 360.
When you get to the Wii though, you realize that a huge component of the game is missing, and that is the online play.
With this type of game, one which focuses heavily on multi-player, it would have been a huge bonuns to the Wii version to feature online play of some kind.
Unfortunately though only Xbox 360 and PS3 owners get to duel it out online this time around.
