Washington (dbTechno) – An assistant producer for Army of Two from EA, Matt Turner, has stated that the Xbox 360 is the lead platform for the game, and that it was then ported over to the Sony PS3.
Army of Two assistant producer Matt Turner stated that after they developed Army of Two on the Microsoft Xbox 360, they then took the game and basically ported it over to the PS3.
He stressed though that the game “looks great on both of them.”
The only difference between the two versions is that the PS3 version fo Army of Two will support tilt sensing according to reports.
Turner stated in an interview with Videogamer.com that “It’s been led on Xbox 360 and we put it on the PS3. It’s because we have more experience in that medium. The PS3 is fairly new with a lot of development stuff. But as far as th egameplay goes on both consoles it’s the same. There’s no difference.”
We will have to wait and see as in the past EA games have run better on the Xbox 360 compared to the PS3.
Army of Two is a third-person military action game build for two-player co-op which should make for great action on the PS3′s PlayStation Network and the Xbox 360′s Xbox Live services.
