Nintendo has officially announced the launch date for Mario Kart Wii in Europe, with the date set for April 11, 2008.London (dbTechno) – Nintendo has officially announced the launch date for Mario Kart Wii in Europe, with the date set for April 11, 2008.

Nintendo has confirmed that Mario Kart Wii will release across Europe on April 11, 2008.

Nintendo stated that the game, Mario Kart Wii, will come bundled with a brand new accessory, the Wii Wheel, which makes it the most innovative Mario Kart game to date.

There are five different control options available in Mario Kart Wii, including Wii Wheel, Wii Remote turned on its side, Wii Remote and Nunchuk, Classic Controller, and you can also use a Nintendo GameCube Controller.

It features 12-player online races over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service, and features new tracks and bikes, battle arenas, the ability to use Miis and more.

Laurent Fischer, Managing Director of Marketing & PR of Nintendo of Europe states, “Mario Kart Wii is an eagerly anticipated launch for Europe and we are confident that all those who have enjoyed playing previous Mario Kart games, in particular the Nintendo DS version will be pleased and looking forward to its arrival.
