MetaRAM Shows Off New Memory Technology For Servers, Workstations

Boston (dbTechno) – Start-up MetaRAM has unveiled a new DDR MetaSDRAM memory technology on Monday. They have stated that this is going to allow them to increase performance on servers and workstations, and will also allow them to reduce prices.

They stated that their new technology will allow the prices of servers and workstations to greatly drop.

Their new MetaRAM DDR2 MetaSDRAM will allow a processor server with four-processors, a quarter-terabyte of memory, and 16 cores sell for under $50,000.

They stated that this is a 90% reduction in system cost thanks to their new technology.

The memory technology has been designed for AMD Opteron and Intel Xeon based systems.
