Sony executive Phil Harrison has stated that he did not leave the company, and the PS3 behind to go work with Atari and rebuild the company.Boston (dbTechno) – Sony executive Phil Harrison has stated that he did not leave the company, and the PS3 behind to go work with Atari and rebuild the company.

He was present on Thursday night at a PS3 party in London.

He has been very quiet since announcing his resignation from Sony as the head of Sony’s worldwide studios.

One thing he did state though according to a few reports is that he did not leave Sony to go to Atari.

He stressed that you can’t read every single thing on the internet and fully believe it.

Harrison was with Sony for many years and saw the launch of the original PlayStation, PS2, PSP, and PS3.

He has since moved on though and will be leaving the company as of today.

  • I wonder why he left, and if it was Sony’s fault.

  • Allot of high executives go down the career path when they reach or nearly reach the top. They spend many years getting there and they resign to go to a smaller role shall we say. The pressure must get to them after doing it for so many years.
