Washington (dbTechno) – Apple is reportedly in talks with major music companies to bring a new service to the iTunes Store. This new service would be an option for consumers to pay one price with the purchase of their iPod or iPhone, and have access to every single thing on the iTunes music library for free.
This type of unlimited access model is something that iTunes users have been asking Apple to do for years now.
It would give iPod and iPhone owners the ability to download all kinds of music off of the iTunes music library, as long as they pay the initial price.
The plan would come with the purchase of the iPod or iPhone, meaning that the price of the unlimited service plan would be included.
Apple is in talks with music companies to see what type of price they would set.
Research has revealed that a customer would pay around $100 for an unlimited access to music, or $8 for a monthly subscription.
We will have to see where this goes from here, but this could lead to many new customers on the iTunes Store.
